okay, sure people have abused this system.
alot of people have.
i've seen some mods even do it.
meh it's a fact of life.
doesn't mean all of the posts were irrelevant, and useless.
meh, i can't remember how many dud ones i've recieved from random members here on the forum, take them away from me, don't really, care. lol.
as long as i get to retain member status, not really caring about points.
but, in my view, strip all the points away, but if they had member status before the PQ system came in, they should retain it.
to make it a tad fairer, because they did earn that member status in the first place before the PQ system was implemented and then abused.
i don't really join in discussions, but this is kinda gone out of hand aye.

I don't think you understand the extent of this - it was not a few PQ points that were "iffy". This was a group of members who went from low PQ points to over 1000 points in a few days/week by repping bs posts of each other. If they wanted respect and fairness they wouldn't abuse the system. Putting them back to zero points and requiring them to earn 1 point to sell is getting off lightly.

This is a website and rules are implemented , and since people abused the rules they get set as an example to others.

Ppl used to actually get banned for abusing the PQ points by accumulating infarctions, even if they were old members. In this incident, just removing the points and going back to newcomer status is pretty lenient. Since they have already been a member for so long, all they need is 1 PQ point and don't have to serve the waiting period.

Its not such a biggie - who cares if you are a newcomer or member....your friends still know who you are

where member can post up a new thread and sell items.

at leats leave us with ONE point so we can continue to be memebers and not get stuck with newcomer status that way we CANT give out points ANYWAY at least give us the right to sell

im pretty sure some of us were memebers even b4 the pq point system was introduced

It's either you retain your member status or get a temporary ban. As said.....you should be glad that after all you and the others have done you're still able to post. You don't have any idea as to how much of our time and effort you wasted by your little games. We don't just invent rules/systems on this site.....we do it for a reason and you of all people should know this.

I think you've underestimated WHY we brought the system in. If you have a system and someone abuses it......why have it all if people are going to walk all over it. Can you elaborate as to how we've overreacted?
