well, i agree with dc2X3 the PQ system is a waste of time.. but still, like taking them guys all back to 0 points is also VERY harsh... a punishment that harsh for sumthing that useless is the over-reaction. coz like wat if they had made sum geniuenly good posts? u get rid of those 2? just coz they wanted to have sum fun? IMO the system is useless.. and if your saying that its useful for helping newcomers no who's good or "has made several knowledgable posts" then i disagree.. coz sif sum1's guna go "omg that guy has 10green blocks, he must be a genius im gunna do wat he says"..

Guys, let me make a general observation here ok - ive got no biff with anyone on these boards so please dont take this personally...
The ppl who are complaining about this system on this thread (from what i can see) are from members that post prodominantly in the lounge and not the tech forums.
Why is that?
Why is it that the people who post more in the tech forums arent complaining about this PQ system?
Guys and girls, its a really simple concept.
This system isnt supposed to make everyone happy - so if its not making you happy, just deal with it cause the system is staying.
If anyone abuses it, they will be moderated.
Just understand that its a way to help us mods control the forums better - ie. to stop ppl signing up and spamming just to sell on the forums.

If the PQ system is a waste of time, then why are you complaining that the points got reset to zero? It's like saying monkeys are useless and then complaining when the monkeys are taken away.

Good to see some intelligent debate about a few of the issues.
Personally, I feel that if the value of your existence is however many green dots you get on a forum board for making informative points - then you may need to reassess where you are heading with your life.
And if you find rorting a system based on honesty a joke (i.e. har har its so funny I am able to rort 500+ points in a month) whatever., I feel you should be banned.
I'm not THE perfect contributor to this forum, but I do not spread bullshit information and I do not do it in a sugar coated way.
But the points I do have from others, on the whole, have been for genuine reasons.
I believe we do not go far enough to penalize those who make no contribution to this site whatsoever except for piss and moan and pass out negative vibes.

I agree with yourfather. The PQ point system is just an indicator and does not represent intelligence. And just because it is based on "honesty" is not a licence to rort the system. Members are either on the bus with the system we have or they are not. If you are not - please don't ruin it for everyone.
It is a shame that Ozhonda used to be more of a community that knew how to have fun but treated each other well. Now we have a growing group of members who spam spam spam, are immature, bitch, attack other users, come here just to sell, or have no general interest in helping others whatsoever. I look at some US Honda forums with many more members than us but they don't have the same issues to the extent I see here. We need a much more positive and helpful vibe! Only the members who care about the site can make that happen.

tis what im trying to do.. fix the issues we always seem to have in the lounge... i think im doing pretty good so far
with the whole pq thing.. everyone knows/knew what would happen if they abused the system.
