    Stock Wheel nuts

    Hi guys,

I was wondering what are the dimensions/details for the stock wheel nuts in my 06/07 Euro?

I'm looking to change them but am not sure which ones to get.

i see numbers like 1.25 or 1.5..and im not exactly sure which one mine uses..

and on a slightly different question..i recently did a DIY painting my brake calipers and when i put the wheel nuts back on i tightened it as hard as i could using the tool that came with the car. would this be good enough or should i bring it to a auto store to get them to mechanically lock my wheel nuts ?

    thanks

    Wheel nuts

The figures 1.25 and 1.5 refer to the pitch of the wheel stud, the wheel supplier should know which one it is. Regarding the tightness of the nuts if you just hand tighten with the brace supplied with the car it will be fine. If you are not strong then you can use some leg power. Do not get the mechanics tighten them with the power tools as sometimes they will be overtightened and you will have difficulty undoing them.

if you have a euro and what you need for your car is 12 x 1.5
are you running after market wheels? if so you need to get tappered nuts to be safe.
