    i agree

    if i won the lottery, i'd grab a dc5 shell put a jdm k20 in it and build my own type r from the ground up!!

    but some1 else said... u gotta be crazy

    there are many people doing jdm conversions...such as brembo kit, lca, front sway...
    and there are heaps that are hardcore modding their australian dc5r to to as fast as the jdm type r on the track...
    for those that are doing this, they really don't care much about not having the jdm dc5r anyway

    stick with ya dc2r tru. hehe. i reckon the facelift the the new integra loox abit weird..esp those front lights. doesnt look aggresive anymore.

    2005 Changes:

    210hp
    143ft lbs tq.
    Type R Final Drive, Lowered by 8.6 percent.
    Single cone carbon synchronizers
    Revised shifter bushings and spring
    Type R Intake camshaft (valve lift increased 5 degrees)
    Type R Exhaust camshaft (valve lift increase 10 degrees)
    Intake Duct Increased 11 percent from 63mm to 70mm
    Type R Exhaust (Larger diameter tail pipe from 60.5mm to 70mm)
    Redesign Higher Flow Catalytic Converter (Exhaust flow increased from 95 liters per sec, to 98 liters per sec.
    New dynamic damper added to the front subframe (reduce wheel hop, engine rocking and engine vibration)
    New 17" alloy wheels with Michelin 215/45R17
    New caster trail settings (increased 65 percent from 9.9mm to 28.6mm)
    New camber angle (increased 50 percent)
    Stiffer rear springs
    New damper seals (improve ride comfort and reduce static friction)
    Horizonal and Vertical rigidity of strut tower bar reinforced 13 percent and 26 percent.
    Front compliance bushings adjusted (4mm longer stroke and 20 percent lower spring rate)
    Front damper bushings replaced by bearings to decrease friction (wheels turn more easily and increase steering feel)
    New front stabilizer bar increased from 23mm to 26.5mm, wall thickness increased from 2.8mm to 3.5mm.
    Power steering pump flow increased 7 percent.
    Quicker steering ratio (from 15.1:1 to 14.9)
    Brake pedal stroke ratio reduced 5 percent
    New flange add to brake pedal for 50 percent increase in pedal rigidity
    Larger diameter brake master cylinder
    New fuel tank shape, optimized to reduce fuel evaporation. Lowers emmissions by 75 percent.
    New aggressive front bumper
    New triple beam headlight w/blackout treatment
    New rear bumper
    New thicker exhaust finisher
    New Taillights
    New standard deck lid spoiler integrated into the trailing edge of the trunk lid.
    New side sills
    Coefficient of drag and coefficient of lift improved
    Front body rigidity increased 15 percent w/ new front upper arm added and thicker wheelhouse walls.
    Rear cross member rigidity increased 21 percent.
    Additional insulation material in roof and doors.
    Front seats optimized with thicker cushions and deeper side bolsters
    Interior urethane padding thickness increased
    Additional weather stripping reducing gap on side mirrors for smoother airflow.
    New chrome accent for shift boot ring, hand brake knob and front seat headrest
    New material for roof lining A-pillar garnish, quarter panel garnish and door lining
    New black on white gauge cluster with chrome accent rings
