I ended up filling it with the Honda touch up paint repeatedly until it was thickened and hardened enough to be level with rest of car. Then I'm going to get it professionally buffed and should look alright.

I wasn't keen on the respray idea since don't want one door to look different to the rest after a year or two in the sun!

can you notice that the touch up paint doesnt give that metallic paint finish?

i scratched one of my side mirrors and thought that the touch up paint would blend it in but its just like normal black paint!

got it from honda - nighthawk black..to me it just looks like black paint....

looking into this black polish at the moment..just got it from supercheap and its like lipstick tube that you spread into the scratch crack..then you just buff it.

waiting for weekend cos need daylight to apply soo i can really tell if htere is a difference but looks promising on a mini test when i applied in night.

I think it's $17ish to be more precise from memory when I bought the Nighthawk Black.

And yes it's just ordinary black paint unfortunately but I think after i get the car buffed, it'll look ok.
