umm...it was burning a lot of oil, idle wasn't stable, and that ticking noise from the valve lifters becomes very noticable for the last...20,000-30,000kms

yeah, as long as u take care of it i know it will last longer...

i cant remember how many times i overheated in that car man...
and for the time i've had it, i think i've had 3 oil changes...the rest of the time was just top up from the oil leak...

i try and take care of it...
i have had it for almost 2 years now, ive only put on about 20000kms on it. prob being is since its never really been looked after b4, if i try and do the right thing now it will cause a cardiac arrest
oil change is done frequently every 3000-5000kms for its age, oil gallery looks very clean, minimal sludge!!
its never overheated on me, tho id like to put proper coolant in, i run the risk of it leaking, so i just top up with water when i change oil, tho i run the risk of seizing oil pump

BTW, did your AC ever worked?
i need to find a Receiver Dryer for AC

yea bro, use proper coolant...i used the ones for the VT commies for mine...
coz when the water pump rusts, its so hard to get to being a really compact engine bay...

man, i cant remember the oil being any other colour other than "black as hell" even after a top up...
my rocker cover gasket was leaking aswell...so when the oil would leak onto the headers...

as for the AC parts, my air con still works, i just cbf goign to get it regassed...but i will definitely be doing it before summer kicks in...
and with the receiver dryer...maybe try honbits at smithfield...they have plenty of parts...
