or if u want to put into so hard yakka and use scratch X... that will get rid / hide small scratches and swirls.....

scratch X only goes so far... get it professionally waxed...

Take it to a panel beaters and get them to cut it up, black polish and wet wax. Cost about ~$200, but will look like one shiny beast afterwards. I jut got it done on the weekend. Turned my pink integra back into a red one

Any panel beater (that has at least half good reputation). Honda anal eater prolly cost you a grand or something rediculous like that.

the equivalent of a "magic hands" in sydney....

won't remove for good, but i am against re-spraying cos it never comes out like factory PLUS trying explaining to next buyer there hasn't been panel damage...

No shit. unless done properly always comes out orange peely, and of they dont prep it properly it can bleed through after a few months and you see where all the old paint was. looks like 'puddles' on the paint...

proper treatment by a detailer can usually get ride of swirls and minor scratches... but the deeper the scratch the less they can do...

It depends what kind of result you want... perhaps get the less damaged panels treated by a professional and get those with the deeper more serious damage resprayed... that way you save money...

In my opinion, 1 grand would not get u a full car respray of a quality that you would be happy with.
