i think you can expand your variety by using front eg shock forks and newer rear lower control arms.

but it depends on what you want to use. skunk2 are a moderately cheap street coilover that should be liveable on the streets. buddy club racing spec have full adjustability so they're more suited for the weekend warrior.
    Current Performance Modifications to ED6:
not telling, but it involves a semi-quad carb setup, and lots and lots of compression.

Does ur Rear suspension fit INTO or sit ONTOP of the Rear Lower Control Arm?

if it goes INTO the LCA, (Onli came in 88 and EF9) then im quiet sure ur able to use EF9 civic coilovers, or the dc2r coilovers with adjustment.

if it sits ontop of the LCA, (89-91 models came out with this application except EF9, not sure on crx SiR), then i think they actually make a coilover for that particular setup. if not then u can use dc2 or eg coilovers with adjustment.

Parts are interchangable ie. changing to eg or dc LCA and Forks to suit ur need, but can get expensive.

    Hope this helps
Please correct me if im wrong.

You might have to get the EG Front Forks as well.

Not sure about the spring height though. Last Time I ran an ED rear shock/Spring on my EG, the car just sank onto the tyres.. :-p I had to change the springs to an EG spring.

In your case, you might end up with your car looking like it was a 4x4.

^^^thats the beauty bout coilovers u can adjust to ur desired height

and yes u can use eg6/dc2r coilovers all u need to change are the front forks to eg/dc(all the same) and eg6/dc2r (diff to eg/dc) rear LCAs or alternatively if ur rear LCAs are already eyelet type all u'll need to do is file out a couple of mm around the hole where the shock is bolted onto the LCA
