Sorry for the misleading figures, i should tripple check my calculations before posting. It should read 785.11 liters to travel the last 11,849km. Still a remarkable set of figures.
I wish I was getting those great Kms... On my 3rd tank (1st wasn't measured as I don't know exactly how much fuel went in) but for the next two it has been terrible and worse for the more recent one. Hopefully it improves over time, haven't been thrashing it at all, but 90% city driving with a LOT of stop start.
2nd tank got 400km for 41L so 10.3L/100km
3rd tank got 360km for 40L so 11.1L/100km
Certainly worse than my 1.8L Mazda 323 was, at this point.. Keeping a log of odometer readings and fuel put in, see how it goes as the km add up...

2 fuel tanks isnt enough to judge a cars fuel efficiency
the engine hasnt been run in yet
u gota wait, at least until 10k kmz intil the car will hit something close to the advertised efficiency
and of course the usual stuff, like driving style, city of hwy etc has a HUGE influence of fuel consumption

I have to disagree with that comment (with regard to the current model civic anyway). Going by my log book for the first 10,041km i used 706.81 litres - an average of 7.04L/100km which is less than advertised. Sure it has improved since, but i think that is due to my learning how to get the best from it.
