is it bad to put eg springs in a vti coupe?

    guys -

EG springs are the same dimensions as DC2, DC2R and DC4 , but slightly softer rates.

EK springs , the fronts are longer and surely different rates too.
So EK = EK , and EG = EG. I wouldnt swap inbetween

but if its aftermarket springs, it will be a different case Ben?

since some aftermarket spring manufacturers have their part number for EG, DC even some EF springs identical. fair to assume those would hav similar rates and length?

thats a very good question - my reply does relate to OEM sprigns tho
From what ive seen - in aftermarket springs all EG and DC are the same. EK can be the same too...depending on "ride drop" and application.
