i don't beleive the 700 around town, that's almost as good as a hybrid, if that's true it's gotta be the most fuel efficient car around, smaller engines don't even get that many km's to a tank around town.

I have 215/45/17tyres Viper. Everyone I know who I have told that I run 0W20 are like wat da .....

This oil was the 1st synthetic engine oil in the world that is biodegradable, and it is derived from castor oil, yes plants! The oil is a double ester oil which is one of the reasons why it can be such a light grade without burning etc.

You can use the shit in light diesel trucks etc, so there is no worries about burning oil issues. I didnt notice any oil usage after changing at the last 10000kay service.

My engine runs heaps better on this then the Mobil 1. the Mobil 1 would idle hairy getting close to the 10000 kay service interval and use a lil more fuel.

The GT1 lasts 15000 kays and still idles better then the mobil ! at 10000 kays. I had an oil sample sent to the Fuchs lab after 10000 kays and 8 months in my sump, they heated it up to about 160 Deg C took the viscosity reading, and it was still within the range specified for 0W20 . The Lab technician reccommended changing at 15-20k next time

The drawback is the price, RRP $120 for 5L but I get it for $86 at a discounted rate. This is the oil that Porsche uses in all its cars.

Fuchs recently ran a comparasion with the Mobil 1 0W40 in a porsche GT2 and the Fuchs made about 3kw more, from mid range through to the top end.

Benjji 700 kays a tank isnt bullshit, the reason why Hybrids get 700 kays to a tank is the actual tank size. They would have a 30-40L tank, where as my accord is 60-65L

    Oh, that sucks...

Is the accord a 65L tank? I have never put more than 45L in it!

But then its really bad to run down to the end of the tank; thats where all the sediments are, and it clogs up your fuel filter (as well as the chance of dirt getting through the filter!).

I have no idea how ECU-Man got 920km to a tank. Even at 55L, thats like 6L/100km, which is better than my gf's 1.3L echo on the highway!!! Maybe alot of it was down hill, with the engine off???
