Colour Of the car...

hey all,

If i change the colour of my car.. lets say its red and i wanted to go black... do i have to tell the rta that im changing the colour of my car?

just to add to this question why? is it so your car can be identified just in case something bad or what

pretty much. When you register your car, you register it as a colour as well. So this has to be changed.
