Depends how far you want to go. If you want to convert ur block to vtec, port and polish the manifold, toda cams, up the compression with new pistons, do ur springs, shafts, gears, and a decent lsd-R gearbox, your looking at about $10,000-$15,000. If you just want a half cut vtir engine dropped in, in standard form with a vtir gearbox, should be close to the $6000 mark.

For my old engine, i paid around the $11,000 mark.
