Best go to Honda spares dept. so you get the right types of clips and screws.

Just finished fitting my Mugen replica grille from ebay US.
    All up with paint $175.

Had to get a can of paint mixed, and sprayed it myself, with a lot of patience.
I had to trim it a bit to fit properly, but with a diamond blade in my angle grinder, no problem. Meshed the lower intake and side louvre vents while I was at it.
Worst part was cutting out the louvres for the side vents. I wanted to do the side vents for a better airflow for the CAI.

The grille is badgeless atm but I will put a EuroR badge on after the Jtune extreme gets installed tomorrow.........

I bought my grill primed and bare, and got it painted at a body shop in Yennora... I cant remember the name, but basically just brought the grill along with me and went to a number of body shops (there are heaps there), showed them the grill and asked them how much it'll be to paint it. That way they can directly assess the priming and how much work is needed, and give you an accurate quote. And in the end just picked one that offered a good price and looked decent. It cost me $80 to get the grill prepped and bake-painted (this is preferable to spray on paint as it is more heat durable)

In terms of installation, it was a simple matter of removing the old grill by removing the clips, drilling holes in the new grill in appropriate places for the clips, and installing it

Here's a diagram that shows the location of clips to remove that i've uploaded:

also you need to remove the radiator-stay that sits on top... this doesnt fit with the mugen grill
its purely cosmetic anyway and u can just set it aside

(I originally sent this to another member but thought i'd post it here for anyone else's interest)

    ............

The radiator cover that clips on top is OK to use on 06 model, only 03-05 that it can't be used.

sorry my bad, the replica one he installed is the design for 06 models.
rounded grills were designed for earlier models 03-05 as the shape didnt change yet.

cost would be about $400+ including paint, shipping. Can't be exact but heres a link for you otherwise search on google and find the cheapest or either go replica but might need some work.

    Hope this helps.
