    EURO Rims Advice

    Hi guys,

I have a 2004 6SPD Manual Luxury Euro. I hate the 16" stocks that come with the car so i have decided to get new ones.

After looking around i have decided on these RIMS

    http://www.tempetyres.com.au/content..._GF7_BLACK.jpg

I am getting them in 19" and most likely a falken 452 tyre. I am a RIM/tyre newbie so I am not sure what sizes I will need to avoid rubbing etc. The guy from the shop said the tyre might be 235/35/R19. I am getting them done at Tyre King baulkham hills so I'm hoping they have a decent reputation.

Any advice on what RIM/Tyre sizes i should be requesting? I have read some of the stories on here about people getting the wrong sizes and having to spend more $$$ to fix it up, so I'm just wanting to double check before i lock anything in. PS Great forum btw lots of useful info, have been reading for a while but i'm not much of a poster.

    Cheers J.

Nice wheels.. Do a search. there are heaps of threads about wheels discussion.

Careful.. there's lot of people here had bad experience with tempetyres.

Mmm, one thing people say is that make sure the offset is correct.
So i think it was with Euro's that between +42 and +55 offset will be ok. ( can someone confirm that plz ) and the width, of the tyre, say the rear if you got wider than 9inch it will look funni unless you roll your guards or willing to drive iwth negative camber just for the wheel to be tucked up that rear guard.

If i dont make any sense here, just LOL at me. Im also sorta/fully n00b and am lookin at wheels atm too.

Yes i have heard that also, but i thought that the recommended offset was between +45 and +55 (not 100&#37. I think the ones i am getting are +45

They are also 19 X 8 so larger than 9inch wont be a problem for me.

For 235 tyres, I'd stick to +48 to +55 offset.

Just from looking at a few other RIM threads a lot of other people had 225 tyres with 19's. Am i better off to go with those?

    Appreciate the help guys

To stay within the legal limit of the same rolling diameter (+-15mm), you have to use 225/35 R19 or 235/30 R19.

So for a 19x8" Wheel, Are you best to go for a 225/35/19 or 235/35/19 ?
