US spec OEM 6 Disc player wiring harness problem

Hi, just purchased a US spec honda 6 disc player and found out the wiring harness plug from cd player to head unit is different. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for US and Oz wiring harness (I have the old plug from cd player that died) as the colour codes are different. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

are you using the OE kenwood unit by chance. the US spec are alpine based.
so apart from a wiring difference you will probably have a language difference also.

Hi, thanks for your reply, the CD player is a Pioneer unit model 08A06-3B1-300 the old unit is also a Pionner and looks identical with model no. 08A06-5B1-300 or 08A06-3B5-300 I can't remeber which offhand but it was just out by one number.

Yes, it is the OE kenwood head unit

Well had no luck finding anyone in country NSW to help with my wiring harness problem, so I had a crack myself. I opened up my old cd player and saw how the wiring harness was connected (quite simply by two plugs) so I unpluged the US one and pluged in the Aus one, unfortunately when I plugged it into the head unit it blew a fuse

Obviously there is a difference between the US and Aus harness but the actual circuit board and connectors looked identical, even if the software was different I wouldn't expect it to shite itself. I've attached a pic of the US wiring harness and the original Oz spec circuit board, any help would be greatly appreciated

I had looked at that second link before, they're both for the radio to car harness for US spec cars right? It's good in that I have the US harness CD to HU and the Oz harness CD to HU I just need to find the colour code for the Oz spec harness as there seems to be an excess number of wires in the US one.

Honda Oz were not very helpful, nor were Pioneer

Anyway thanks for you help.
