dbzerk bought his s2k with like 4000km on it last year

and really he doesnt drive it much

And he's got an Ap2 cluster, which doesn't work.

yknow ive never seen an AP2 cluster, i see the AP1 every day but whats the difference between them ?
any 1 with a pik of an AP2 clusta ?

Hey guys, just a quick question!!.. when u change the cluster, does the KM reading stay with the cluster??/ or does the km reading come from the ECU, which in that case, doesn't matter what cluster u have , the kms will always show the right km that the car has traveled because its from the ECU ..... just abit confused

and what year is ap1 and ap2??? thanks guys!!

if memory serves me its programmed into the cluster, although im sure the ECU would keep the same data but not actually pass it to the cluser ( reference data)
and i think AP2 is from 04/05 onwards and Ap1 from 1999.
correct me if im wrong guys im not actually 100% on this info, can admit i never specialised in the S2k's.

the one thing i would love to know, has anybody modified one of these clusters ? i'e to show up a different color or has anybody pulled one down to see if they could change LED's/globes ?
if anybody can even partialy answer that it would be GREATLY appreciated and images a bonus.
