Take off the distributor cap and check for corrosion.

Car cranks over but won't start

I've got a 94 Integra vtir, this morning when i went to start it up it cranked over but didn't fire up.

When i got home after work i tried it again and it started up fine. Tried it again about an hour later and wouldn't start up again.

The car previously had problems with the main relay about 9 months ago which was fixed. but i thought i'd be safe and check it again, luckily my brothers got a dc2 as well so i pulled his main relay out plugged it up in mine but still the same problem. i tried my main relay in his car which started up fine.

had a spare set of spark plugs lying around so i changed them over however still doesn't fire up.

fuel filter was replaced only a few moths ago.

I've read on other posts to check the distributor and ignition lead.
does anyone know of an easy way i can check them?

    or have any other suggestions?

Check your spark plug leads for any damage and make sure that your fuel pump is activating when turning on ignition

Open up the Dizzy and see if you have sparks.
Look at the coil could be damaged.
