    Lsd

    Hi Y'all

I am planning to do a B18C swap (engine, gearbox, ecu etc) into my EK1 and just wondering will the standard EK9 LSD fits??? Or do I have to specifically get a DC2 one?

    hi there,

if you planning to do a complete swap including motor + gearbox w/lsd.
dont see what your problem is.

adding an lsd to a non-lsd box is a different story. i believe theres some issues with FD.

yeah I thought you buy new piston and conrods for an engine and just slap them in as well pretty sure there is more to it then just slapping it in
    Why hello there

well in regards to putting a itr/ctr lsd into a non lsd box.
there are issues with FD size UNLESS for example you get a LSD from the itr with the 4.4FD and insert that into a b16a box with 4.4FD should be fine.
not too sure if it has correct clearance or has any play though (maybe some shims may need to be added).
maybe someone who has done this can enlighten this topic.

Well B18C is the jap spec type r motor, which comes with an LSD.
    So unless your talking about a DC2 VTi-R, B18C2 conversion ??
