    Lowering Jazz- Updated

    Hi everybody

I was searching through the forums for lowering a jazz and found that all threads were at least 2 years old, so I decided to start another one. Currently I've got an '07 Thai built jazz VTi, and looking to lower it.

I've noticed that many are opting for king springs, however I've heard that they are known to 'sag' after time. This makes me question the quality of the springs, as i've been quoted ~$400 fitted and installed at various places.

Then there's the spoon progressive and tein lowering springs from japan. I've heard that these are better but would like to hear from others.

If i wanted to make the jazz a more fun car to drive, and the ocassional track day, which setups would be better? Price wise I'm not too concerned, more after quality than taking short cuts.

So anybody with lowering springs or coilover stories they want to share?

    Have you looked at coils?

Also if your changing springs you should also look at changing your shocks at the time or in the near future when you install the springs.

i have H&R springs atm which i'm really happy with, but it still isn't as good as coilovers. If u intend to keep ur car for some time just bite the bullet & fork out for the coils. They are alot better But that being said a decent spring from jp or europe will go a long way as well.

I've decided to get Tein's Super Compact coilovers. Just looking around for prices.

Does anyone have any places they recommend to have coilovers installed?

I read Dedy or Touge Tune are quite decent but I wondering if there's more around Sydney.

    so how was this updated???

Just get kings. Its a jazz, not a track car. You dont need coilovers.

Usually the reason they sag is cos the person blown a shock after using lowered springs on a standard shock. Though, depending on the car, this may take a few years..

Also who cares if it sags and gets lower.... dont u want a lower car?
