You started the car once a week or every day in that week that you didn't drive? The cylinders are lubed by oil when you start. It's a small fraction of time where the oil is circulated but as long as you let it idle for 30 seconds or so before driving off, you don't need to keep starting your car if you are not driving it. Before you bought your car, it was sitting on a ship for at least a few weeks without being ever started.
