    Lightbulb Update

    Update!

Had some Koni Yellows (15-20mm drop) installed recently and also attached some Civic EK side skirts!

    Starting to take shape!

I'm running the Koni's with the stock springs and the handling is much improved. For anyone interested in going for a similar set up I can tell you that even on the softest setting all around, body roll and pitch is reduced significantly and the steering response when changing lanes, or accelerating feels much more solid.

With regards to what is the ideal damper setting for a good balance of driveability and comfort so far I have found:

Front: full 360 deg twist ( out of 540 deg max) Rear: 125 deg From softest = great feel, obviously a little less absorption of bigger bumps, but not uncomfortable. Good spirited driving setting At limit still has front end push

Front: 180 deg Rear: 45 deg From softest = good daily setting for to-ing and fro-ing to work. Good cruising setting Not tried at limit.

I've also read conflicting opinions regarding having fronts harder than rears. The installation tech suggested harder front to compensate for more weight, but another guy suggest harder rear to get the back end to follow more quickly.... a bit confusing but I have been changing gradually through the range and getting a feel for the cars characteristics after each adjustment.

LOL I spend more time twisting that little Koni knob than anything :P

    Anyhow enjoy the new pics!

Next: DIY intake extension to behind front bar ! Bring on the holidays!!

I run stiffer in the rear. Having the rear settling after the front is not a good feeling to me.

Yes,after you change the bias to stiffer in the rear you wont change it back.

Oh? Good stuff I'll give it a go this weekend and let you know how it feels....

so whats the ratio for front to back stiffness ?

Try it out for yourself. Everyone has a different driving style, pick one that gives you turn-in that you like.

Aye, that I have been - stiffer rear does feel good too. Interesting to hear others setups.
