if you are concerned about power drain then a deep cycle battery (optima/odyssey etc) will certainly help but they are not cheap, good ones are around $400. That said, is your amp 1600wrms or max output coz if uve got something like a 'boss' amp or something that has 1600w printed on the side of it I wouldent bother
