    > just buy an ASR brace and a CTR sway bar

    x3!

Yonas at JDMYard usually has a pile of CTR sways bars with end links.

Alternative is a 14mm rear sway from an EK4. visit your favourite honda wrecker.
No need for sub-frame brace with the 14mm rear sway.

    > 98 cxi hatch

You'll need a 26mm front sway to match it.

Look at same generation CR-V at wreckers

Get some new Superpro sway bar bushes to maximize its effectiveness.

Poly motor mounts. Once you get a bit of wheel hop, you'll thank me.
cheap-o Ebay torque arm, tighen it up good and put up with the cabin vibration.

Child seat restraint/seat belt clamp lock thingie. $8 at Repco.
    Best bang-for buck.
Place it on your selt belt, to lock out the slack. Tighten it up real good.
You'll need a deep breath and time to get used to driving without squirming
    around in the seat.
Ghetto racing harness, as long as you can put up with the constant tension.

A stock EK civic can generate a fair bit of G force, which you'll never realize cause the OEM seat belt allows so much freedom.

    > already have a RAM intake

    Sell it.
Eat Maggi noodles for a month, and cut out the booze/smokes. Yes you can do it.
    Then buy some good rubber.

Once, you'be been bitten by the bug, start saving for an OBX LSD.

    Nick.

For limited budget improvements, I would advise good quality brake pads. Race- spec items will designate more performance than street grade pad's but should only be installed if you are planning to use your car frequently at a circuit as they need to be heated up first before they are at optimal operating temperatures. Either that or save up your money for some good high performance tires or a complete coilover system.

they are used front and rear..
depending on what size and how you set it all up etc then it can alter under/oversteer.

They connect from one side of your car on the lower control arms to the other side at the same point and are used for reducing body roll.

Can also be referred to as a stab/stabilizer bar.
