I've always loved TomTom One XL, i had one before but my brother forgot to rub off the suction mark and a thief broke in and stole in.

Because i work in retail, i told them about the sitaution to my boss and he gave me the TomTom One XL at cost which was around $370.

Anyways to avoid the suction problem, there is a item at Dick Smith which mounts to the air vent, like a mobile phone holder but turns to be used as a GPS holder.

the unit comes with the base if u want to stick it to the dash, the suction mount and also springs for the air vents.

Definetly recommended buy because having the GPS on the windscreen kind of blocked my vision at that particular spot, but now that problem is gone and the suction cup mark problem is fixed...

definetly buy it.
