    my audio aint working........

    Hey guys, juz wanna ask your opinion n exprience.

    basically the audio in my S2K aint working. stock CD stacker.

    even radio aint working...........wat could be the problem.

    last thursday nite after got home i juz turn the car off without even turnin off the cd player.

    next day when i try to play cd stacker again it juz kept quite.........even radion aint working!!

    i booked on friday to have it looked it but it would be good to get some ideas wat going on with it.

    any help greatly appreciate it.

    you mean only the sound or the whole headunit doesnt turn on, no light or display if that is the case must the fuse.

    nah i meant only the sound, the whole unit still on, light on n play track but no sound at all.........

    I know its sound stupid but have you checked the Fader ?

    WTF is Fader dude??

    when come to audio stuff i really know nothing apart from turn on & off lol........

    There's normally options in your headunit to adjust the bass, treble, balance and fader. Faders are normally used to balance the sound between the rear or the front speakers. I assume that S2K's only have 2 speakers at the doors? It might be the fader was dialed to fill only the non-existant rear speakers. That might be the problem as mentioned by 'aka_NSX'.

    I reckon he should just take his S to the Pro on FRI since he doesn't even know what Fader is

    thanx heaps guys, it was the fader lol..............

    luckly i didnt spend money juz to have some one have a look @ it.
