I have recently got my act together and fitted the window washers to my carbon bonnet and thought about doing a wee write up for those who have thought about doing it to theres and are not too sure about it all.

So I started with a 3mm drill bit and located the holes with some carefull measurements from the old bonnet. Taped the area over with masking tape so not to chip the clear coat off.

Drilled pilot holes then used an asortment of files to enlarge the holes.

The first thing I did was make the holes into rectangles so the plastic piece from below the squirters would fit in and used them as templates to enlarge the holes further.

Here are some pics of it all happening.
(sorry about the lighting, crap camera + sunny day  )

    Tools layed out.

    Plastic piece in as template

    And the final product 8)

Um at a guess without measuring. 7-8mm long and around 6-7mm across. They are not just round holes. They are shaped off the plastic gromet the sits below the washer nozzles.
