front ones blitz??? If so write up a DIY,... i always changed hubs cause i cbf changing the hub bearing hahaha
HAHAHAAH
I bring it to Mekong.. you have to bring only the control arm and hub attached..they press out the hub and replace old with new bearing for you... $20... + 70 for the new bearing ofcourse
yeah i've used the koyo one about 4 cars now. They seem to be quite good. Bloody toyotas keep throwing hub bearings.
Usually good to change both at the same time for even wear. WHen i only change one for some reason the other one goes shortly after.
One thing make sure you don't put anything on the bearing. It has its own lithium grease and if you put other lithium grease or something one it it seems to reduce the life of the bearing. I burnt out a few bearings this way due to adding more lithium grease. Keep it clean of all contaminates
Mekong is great they press it out for you and press the new one for you also for $20, it bloody cheap as i could never get the bearing out myself
they dont suddenly go.... to begin with you will get intermittent squeak, then it gets wose into a continual squeak, and then worse still its gets louder....
i found mine started to go with the odd squeak around the twisties.....
Koyo, GMB...They're the same. They're all OEM specs so there's no going wrong with a different brand. GMB water on my H22A setup is either equal to, or better than an OEM spec. My Koyo tensioner bearing is also just as good as OEM (which was going to cost me anywhere between 150-180)...which I got for 80bux. Your pick though, if your tight with money then grab the Koyo...like I said, just AS GOOD. But if your picky and you insist on having everything h0nd4r, then by all means, spend away lol
do they make a "squeal" similar to brake pads when low on meat? cause thats what im gettin right now, but seems to go away when the brakes have warmed up. but it comes back when i have applied the brakes heavily and nearly come to a stand still. oh and btw it cant be my brakes cause i changed them less than 1yr ago
