^^^yah he's right... and since you have an EG your H4 plugs will melt as did mine.. had to get the High Temp NARVA replacement ones. If you want superior visibility with Halogens.. look into the Philips X-Treme +80% or the OSRAM Nightbreaker +90%

it will increase light intensity and visibility at close range at a massive cost to your long range + high beam.
Take this scenario (RAIN & wet road):
Yellow (3300k or less): can clearly light the road in front of you due to the sheer amount of yellow and lack of any spectrum above blur
OEM (~3700k): is a good balance for short/long range
White/Blue (~5200k+): are the best option ONLY IF it's HID. It's because to achieve these on halogens, they have to put a blue coating which removes all the yellower spectrums making it useless for short range, and hence why you can't really see them on wet road. because the general intensity is lowered due to filtering, they HAVE to make up for it with increased wattage.... same applies for the yellow filter ones just opposite effect...
