agreed. All car manufacturers seem to be going with the square look.

10 days - it's on the boat from Taiwan. I also added the bluetooth kit, not sure if it's worth it yet ($795). I noticed the accessories/options are heaps dearer at honda compared with holden , although the price for a calais is 10K dearer... go figure. I did a quote online @ holden for a calais v6 and then added all the accord lux extras and ended up around 56K (compared with 47K accord).

Also, another minor I noticed about new Accord is that the stereo has an external auxillary jack + 12v outlet inside the center console - really handy for mp3 players (it's connected via the headphone jack).

Honda fans You've got to go and check this car out, pictures do not justify how good this car is. It makes holden and ford look like junk in my opinion.

I will upload pic when she's delivered.

I haven't actually been to the Thailand assembly plant, but have been told by dealer it is made in Thailand but designed by Honda branches in Germany, USA and Japan for the global market. Eg. You can see some BMW 6/7 series influence in the body.

I expect the sound system to be superb because the Luxury V6 has a sub-woofer and splits. That means 2xTweeters on the dash and 4x mid-range speakers plus 1xSub (under the rear bench behind the back seats).

sometimes the cargo shipment, from Thailand, have to go to somewhere else first (lets say Taiwan) to pick up something, and continue (lets say Philipines), and after that go to here. That's why sometimes if we shipped something using sea services cargo, it would take 3 months. rarely from Thailand straight to here, because only (lets say) half full of container in that ship.

    can;t wait also :-)
