what fuel do you use for EP3

Hi everyone, i just picked up my EP3 last week. It went insane on the first day that i picked it up. However, after pumping a full tank of Mobil 98, it seems not going as fast as it was. For all EP3 owners, just wondering what fuel do you use? Thanks.

Your probably just used to the power

I try and use BP or Mobil. May be you put standard mobil premium??

Still, I cant see much performance difference between the 98ron fuel really. Just use what you think is best.

You could risk a tank of V-power racing if you can find it. That's 100 RON and 5% ethanol.

shit yeah v-power racing, ive got a crumb of an engine (d16y) and it feels so much better with v-poer racing. its probably killing my pistons though. but yeah shell v power is 98ron, same as bp ultimate

You shouldn't feel any difference in a d16y though... Maybe it's just cleaning it out a bit because of the ethanol.

i noticed a bit of difference when i used vpower racing in my ep3. When vtec kicked in it just had a bit more of a kick. But i only use bp ultimate now. Car runs good on it. Reason why im not going to b using much of vpower racing is because i heard the ethanol can eat at ur fuel lines. Wish it didnt do that because that fuel makes my car roar ! ! Might use it on a track day mayb

(according to a ethanol brochure from Mobil , Fuel with ethanol is completely safe for cars after 1986. This includes your EP3

(dont know exactly what changed after 86 - a ADR relevant to fuel lines ? )

This is the only situation where I'd recommend v-power racing, because those JDM EP3s are spec'd for 100 RON.
