Seems to be hard to get d-din dash kit in sydney for civic FD

funkdr.. there are alot of double dins out their at allows you to angel your dvd screen?.. like the kenwood ddx6039? so its not much of a problem..

ill be putting a alpine w202 in and just lookign at the stock dash it had a fair bit of rake towards the wind sceen but should be fine if its to much for my liking i can always fibre glass

Okay, that is a shame. I thought your supplier might do a similar kit for the Honda Odyssey. I guess there are less Odyssey on the roads here as opposed to the Civic so perhaps there is not enough market for one?

Is the odyssey in the picture your car? How come the dash portion of the centre console looks different to mine and it shows Honda Navigation system? So you are not sure if it is genuine Honda accessories? I went to the Australia Honda website and can't see any navigation system for the Honda Odyssey???

I did try connecting an ipod to the aux input earlier and that works fine. I think I should hold back from getting an aftermarket deck put in till I can get an off-the-shelf double din to fit to the top, the installer was going to install the deck where the existing CD player on the bottom currently sits.

i have been questioned about the fitment of a 7" double din dvd player. some say 7" will fit but some say max is 6.5"...so i dunno which is correct...can someone help plz....

7" LCD if 2din size would fit, may be the problem is not the unit, but the unit front bracket/facia.
ie. PIONEER AVH-P6850DVD (7") would fit.
