    yeah i know but after getting another motor and putting it in the costs would add up

    I HAVE A QUESTION

    is the crankshaft pulley left hand thread or is mine ****ING tight
    i snapped 1x breaker bar and 1x 19mm socket and bent another breaker bar

    yeh becaus of motor shitting itself i got a quote so i might put an engine in and put it up for sale want to get rid of it

    Thinking logically it shouldn't be reversed, but yes they are tight. Get a rattle gun.

    i didnt think so because all commodores and shit ive done havent been left hand thread...


    loctite make the freeze and whatever its the product freezing below 45 degrees

    I wouldn't go by what another engine has. It'll just be threaded so it doesn't come undone with the engine torque.

    its fair enough if u dont have to take it off

    but most cars rnt left hand thread because u need to take them off once its tight its tight

    because u just put a breaker bar on it and against the crossmember and crank the engine and that does it for u

    What year is it and condition and colour? I sold my 90 for $5600 but it was in very good condition. If its red and you wreck it I shotty your rear bar.

    Engine Swap

    Hi Guys,

    Wondering how many ppl here are using B16s or B18Cs for DA9 here?

    Want to change my engine but do not know which one i shd go?

    If i get a B18C it will cost a bomb. A b18C2(dc2 VTIR) i'll need to change the engine to a B16 head. Else a B16 with EK9 Cams and valve springs. Which do you guys recommend?

    Or is there anyplace that you guys know of that i can get 2nd cheap engines in WA?

    i dont know anyhing about the ek9 cams and valve springs, but i do know about a b18c in a da9!

    fkn awsome daily driver, great power increase from stock da9 (b18a?) and wit a few extra mods u will have a very nice da9.

    im more then welcome to watch u do the conversion....

    they pop up... the cheap b18cs....... u just gotta know where to look and what your looking at..

    try get a front cut because if u need extra parts like small things u will b able to take them off the front cut where if u get a engine u will ave to hunt around and stuff for one... its cheaper gettin a cut

    thats the prob... i duno where i can find DC2R parts... thats making so sick... sighhhhh....

    you guys got any idea?!
