    EK Gli and Vtir brakes the same?

    Just to confirm.. are they the same for:

    Caliper, rotor, brake booster and MC.

    Been advised they the same by reputable backyard mechanic...

    both 262 rotars, calipers are different.

    in what way are the calipers different?
    i had ek4 and ek1 gli calipers side by side n they look the same lol

    the later model 99-2000 model GLI has same rotor & caliper as ek4

    I've change pads on both and they use the same pad. I don't see where the is a difference at all

    Earlier model GLI has smaller rotors and caliper pre-97.

    1998 year was a funny yr where you had either or, so just be careful

    so a 96 gli had smaller brakes than a 99 gli?

    the 25th silver anniversary GLi has the same rotors and calipers and pads as the VTiR. otherwise its different.

    yeah, I know this cos I got the anniversary one, same fr brakes as vtir, rear discs, and ek4 interior trim are the major difference
