    Itr Tyre Size???

i have an dc2 ITR but have the original 16" wheels from the dc5 ITR on my car. could someone with a dc5 ITR tell me what tyre size you got on yours?

not good...i reckon i got the wrong size (205/45/16) on now. i think they are suppose to be 205/55/16. anyone know?

i believe you im just making sure.

does it depend on the wheel or the car?

im so confused now. i was pretty sure they were 205/45/16 as well until i saw that site.

the reason i thought they might be wrong is cus the inside of my tyres are really worn (i know i need new tyres) but they also dont seem to fit smoothly over the inside of the wheel. thats why i though 55 instead of 45.

is it the angle the wheel sits at? anyone know or am i just crazy?

if the inner tyre is being worn it means u have a neg camber. get a camber kit.
always thought ti was 205/45 also but just checked with frend with dc5r and he said 55.

But I think if you put the DC5 wheels on DC2 you will porbably need to put a smaller profile tire..
Coz the originals on DC2 are 195/55/15
when you upgrade the wheel size the profile needs to be reduced to keep the same diameter so I would say that 205/45/16 should be the right tire size for DC2

stock size is 205/55/16, i have a dc5r with stock tyres still and thats the size. as some others have said a lower profile is probably advisable.
the size is more to do with the car than the rim

for any car, If your not sure what size to use, or what size is stock, check the tyre placard.

it should be on the driver side of the car when you open the door, has the size and everything to do with the car when it comes to the wheels and tyres.

if its not there check the passenger side door sill and if its not there then the sticker's definitely stuck up in the glovebox

For DC2R 205/45 with 16 inch rims is correct. Your tyre size is fine.

DC2R - 16 inch rims, needs a 205/45/16 rim... In order to keep your speedo the same.

You can use what ever tyre size you want... as long as they fit... it's just that your speedo will be out, and your car will handle like shit.
