    Question Help buying 97 or 98 prelude

    Hey , i want to buy a 97-98 model prelude. Can any of you people please let me know what i should look and check for?? I really want one (Vti-R), but i also want one in good condition. Thanks

    Auto or manual

    If you want an auto be careful - the auto boxes are soft - make sure it is a perfect box before buying - also, try and buy from a dealer and get warranty - it will save your ass.

    Try and buy a stocker - any modified will have been thrashed

    Other than that - the common things like engine sounds, panels - steering wheel - they are leather and dirty people dirty them up.....

    look for leaking stearing rack, CV joins and boots, look for smooth auto gear shifts and its always a good Idea to check the computers for fault codes. there are shit load more things to check, this is just some things to look for that can cost you $$$$$ in the long run.
