    Leather Seats?

Hey Guys ma Bro just bought a '01 VTIR, looks good black lwrd with Sunroof. has a nice Remus twim tip exhuast on it too goes pretty hard HEHE.

His question though is that he really wanted leather seats but could find any ludes for sales with them, his seen this ebay dealer that sells Leather seat covers that, by the photos the end result looks pretty much stock and you can pick any colour you want really

Now the question is has anyone delt with them before or any other dealers like it and know how it all fits together?

    Thanks

ive seen the leather seats ur looking at and they look pretty junk after a bit of use, they dont really mould the seats to well and they go flimsy. You can also see that they are just seat covers on the sides of the seats and they also move around a abit. Another option is to get some1 to re trim his seats in leather, choose any colour and stitching and you get a perfect fit.

mate of mine did it in his BMW, retrimmed 2 front seats and rear sets and door trims inserts and it cost him close to a grand. looked special tho! from memory those leather seat covers cost around 500-600 bux

Theres a "non" slip over seat cover on ebay. Basically u have to rip off ur existing cloth cover n do the retrimming ur self with instructions. Its custom made and from the pics....it looks pretty tight and oem. U can choose ur colour n stitching etc...

yeh im planning to get some....

on prelude australia there is a link to the installation instructions...the material looks alright and the process of doing this seems similar to pro retrim...kinda. u have to use zip ties to pull down all the corners so its looks exactly like oem

i hate the slip over type seat covers...make the seat look so crap
