    Size of EK4 VtiR throttle body?

    Just wondering if anyone knows the size of the B16A VtiR throttle body?
    Is it larger than D16Y Vti throttle body?

  2. #2
    yes, but i *think* it is 60mm vs 58mm in the D16...

    teh early JDM B16A's were only 58mm too...

    (can someone confirm EK VTiR is 60mm?)

    58mm.......

    you may look for JDM ITR 98 spec throttle body which is 67mm but you could bore it to 70mm

    no, only 1st gens were 58mm, the B16A2/3 are 60mm (i have just searched Honda-tech to confirm )

    also - 60mm TB was used on B16B, B18C and H22A (except B18CR = 62mm)

    BTW - i also doubt that hte JDM ITR TB is 67mm

    hmmm, looks to me like it could have been bored out

    nice one

    stock = 62mm

    EDIT

    sorry, yes - you ARE actually measuring the wrong side - take it off and measure the side that faces the intake manifold.

    apparantly the ITR tb is tapered:
