    custom...ish...

from what i understand there's a few companies in the US that makes bolt on packages for quad carb conversions...

kawasaki carbies are quite popular with the UK chaps...

a pair of dual sidedraught webers is normally the setup that youll be able to find the most support for conversion-wise. its not quite quad carburetor, but it is quad barrel and will be easier to tune than 4 kawasaki or yamaha carbs. you could also do quad keihin carbs if you want.

www.bisimoto.com can make manifolds for webers, or if you want something cheaper, head to http://www.manifolds.co.za/acces.htm for rowland manifold. i bought the manifold for my pair of dcoe40 skracing carburetors from rowland manifold, and its not too bad, could do with a bit of sanding, but the roughness helps with the atomisation of fuel.

but note that just getting quad carburetors on their own wont give you much difference unless the rest of your car can match it. head to www.onecamonly.com or www.fjdistributors.com for engine build kits. theyre fairly cheap and it will be worth it in the long run (a b-series beat down kinda worth it)
    Current Performance Modifications to ED6:
not telling, but it involves a semi-quad carb setup, and lots and lots of compression.

for a weber setup, youll have to import. i happen to come upon my skracing carbs by luck. theyre a hybrid between the mikuni and weber designs, with slightly less tapered throats, so i thought they would be more expensive, but i found them on ebay for $350AU. check out gempartsaustralia or gemparts on ebay, he's a queenslander who has a wide supply of carburetor products and know-how as well.

but webers are expensive, and you have to look around a fair bit for quad carbs. a pair of dual sidedraught webers could set you back anywhere up to $1500 if theyre a matched pair. but if you look around like what i did a month ago, you can stumble upon a set of quad yamaha r1 carburetors with linkages and manifold for $150US. snipe around on ebay, you'd be suprised what you can find.

theres a cheap setup. only good for response tho, not sure if its big enough for power gains. they look like 32/36. you'll want at least 38 inside diameter for any power gains with a d.

    these ones look pretty good.
