Nice time. Can't wait to get my little non VTEC DOHC out there... gimme a buzz when you're going next.

Yeah Jase, I'm sure SSS's should be quicker....they're a 2L and newer etc. Spose the ones I've taken on have been severely limited by bad driving.
Still, when you're in a GSi, you're always the underdog

Ya's can always race on normal tyres (I know I did - hence the dodgy 60ft times )

I got 8 runs, but another mate of mine had 15. There were 52 cars running, TOTAL... lol.

60fts = 2.3-2.4.. after the clutch went on the third run, I was getting 2.5s, haha.

What times did you run in your DC2 ITR out of interest? I never heard

yeah i could use my normal tyres.....but i want to do a PB

and am aiming for 2.0 60 footers......maybe even a 1.9 if i totally perfect it hehe

Now I'm worried... I was hoping to crack off a 15.0 when I get out there.... on 16s with track rubber......

its very different to street, so dont expect to get perfect runs on your first time
i was aiming for under 15.2
next time i'll aim for under 15.0

What was the main differences you found from the street?

I found it reasonably similar in the two different cars i've raced at WSID.. main thing I noticed in a FWD was the bad wheel spinnage that equals in axel tramping, I've never had that problem on the street

I'd rather run with my daily driver setup, eg. street trim and rubber. More "realistic". No use slapping on $400 slicks *glances @ the VW ...crazy all out cant!! lol) that I wouldn't be able to afford 52 wks a year...

15.007 Steve? Awesome man! On the 17" Tarmac Evos too! I'd love to come along sometime Dung/Steve/Tommo... just gimme some time to get my shit together... gotta make sure the little DC4 is in decent shape.... high 15's here i come!!!
