    Well im looking for a car that is around the s2000 price tag $35k but not having to modify it too much. I think buying a 99-01 model comes with so many etxras that are needed.

    The cruise controls you'll see in Aus are aftermarket. You could install the USDM cruise control but it requires the US steering REEL (not rack).

    The Reel is a ribbon of cable that sits in the steering wheel and allows electrical connection when the wheel is turned. Aftermarket versions use a RF connection.

    Thanks for the input guys, looks like i'll be getting an 02+ just for the glass window and clutch upgrade. Depending on how well my future job pays i might even get a later model Can't wait to own one of these bad boys!

    Agreed including insurance.. being an s2000 incurs a $2000 car excess that is just bollocks!
