yeah not too worried about that. ive been pulled over maybe 8 or 9 times, and am yet to get defected for: bald tyres, illegal exhaust, open pod, lower than 10cm in some parts, and (haha) different headlight bulbs. so yeah how do you go about painting them?

i got a spray print from the shop, got home, and tape it around the light, covered most of the rear with news paper, and just spray it on.

ob the bottle, it says not to spray more than 3 layers, otherwise people cannot see the light.

i did it on my car, my car is white, it looks nice....... u should do it

i saw this on a dc2r yesterday actually but they way he did it looked pretty legal to me? it looked like he gave the light a quick once over and then accented the parts where the lights dont light up like the housing kinda thing and blended it in quite funky (Y)

might be going off topic a bit here, but has anyone tried painting them from the inside, pulling the cover off and than putting it back together??? IMO it would look less illegal as the red/yellow would still show just be a bit darker

PS, a mate had an old laser and we painted his taillights and headlights black (left only 2 small holes) and had no probs with the police, but i guess it depends what officer you get pulled over by

PPS, nick, give all automotive imports a call (look in yellow pages for # as i cbf), a friend picked up a black steering wheel for $50
