so mobil synth S semi synth will be fine for a D16Y4 ?

i just got the car so not sure what its been running so im thinking of going semi synth then fully synthetic after a few changes does that sound ok ?

and can i use cheap ryco filters

What viscosity is the Mobil Synth S? If it is 0w-30, 5w-30, 10w-30, 0w-40, 5w-40, 10w-40, it will be fine. Ryco filters should be ok, but I'd rather stick to OEM.
