if its black, normally its a bad combo because your pistons are gonna run into the head. or its a bad combo. hmm, havent had that problem with the d series calculator, so it must be uber touchy with b series. try b18c-b16b head, b16a/b crank, PCT pistons, b16b rod, and mill the head about 1mm-1.5mm (0.040inches to 0.060), but it'd be safer with just a mill of 1mm.
it will give you a CR of about 13.08:1, which is about as far as i'd go with oem pistons.
the b16b pistons have a fair bit of dome on them, so you may want some strong piston rings, and maybe get the iggy timing done properly.

my setup in my d series gives me a comp ratio of about 12.08, which is fairly difficult enough to run stably, but it should be stable enough for me with a tune.

if the page turns red, i'd go with high octane if you intend to run that setup, just to keep it from pinging.

oh and the horsepower calc on that page is a little off, doesnt have enough inputs.

    Current Performance Modifications to ED6:
not telling, but it involves a semi-quad carb setup, and lots and lots of compression.
