    power windows

    Hi,

i got a 02 jazz gli... the power window switch doesnt open/shut the driver side windows automatically....

i have been told by someone on this forum that i need to reprogram it.. so i held the button in for 5 seconds after it opened all the way... and repeat again when its closed all the way..the switch then didnt work until i press a different window..

    anymore ideas anyone?

    are you doing it right?

    turn the car on.

    put the window down.

hold the switch down for 5 seconds.

    then put the window up

hole the switch up for 5 seconds

    turn off car

    then it should be sweet.

it could be the wiring for your windows, also if you have an alarm it might turn it abit funny.

I have a Viper on my car and on my drivers side window at times i will bring it up and it would go down or when its all the way down i would have to flick it a couple times before it starts to wind up, and sometimes it would go all the way up and then go a fraction down again..
    =z

You could call up Honda to ask them to check it out or take your car to your local auto electrician
I haven't driven a Honda in years. :/ Does my honda lawn mower and whipper snipper count?

just curious, have u recently changed ur battery and havnt driven the car far since?

if ur ecu has been reset due to that, the power window will hav to re-learn itself, it normally doesnt take long, but a good drive will normally be enough.

if it isnt this, i guess there may possibly be some electrical fault.
