hmmm i wouldnt say it was that hard Lee, if i can do it im sure anyone else could hehe only tricky part was, was slicing off the insulation of the wires without cutting into the conductor. What i did was remove the dial unit/cluster bit. To do so u first pull out the black plastic frame sort of looking thing thats on the outside that just snaps straight out, then u have to remove 3 screws, then after that u pull out the cluster/dials whateva its called and what i did was attach the 3 wires for the shift lights to the wiring plugged into the top of the cluster dial.

Ill show pictures soon of the final outcome

if the wires just go to the back of he cluster then it shouldn't be too much trouble.

the shift-i works well on the track and is a very cheap gimmick
must have if you track your car.

he wants $100. apparently they need to reprograme the key to start the car. is this right?

hell no Philip Lee. I have the pre face lift model (2002) and when i got my keys cut it was a simple grab a piece of metal and copy the original key. No programming needed at all. 14 bucks each key it cost me

well mine is a c package which apparently has factory immobilisor. but the key itself looks to me just like a normal key with no chip inside. i have a seperate remote for locking/unlocking.

my key looks like this (remote is diff):

honestly i was a bit shocked that's why i asked here.

    thanks for the comments.
