YEah i am 100% positive the revised euro model will be coming with 17s, not sure bout clear lights. would be a nice touch possibly, but maybe to much mazda 6 look.
Also, if the 2005 Euro plans to follow the rolling diameter of the TSX (Which has 17" rims and 215/45 tyres), then there is less acceleration than the 2003/04 model.
I have also heard rumours of 17" rims for 2005 and no space saver tyre (ie a full sized rim!)
For those seeking performance this is a step backwards as the OEM 17" is probably heavier. An extra 10kg in the boot doesn't help performance either.
So it looks like the 03/04 model will outrun the new model!
the Euro is not a true performance car anyway so the extra weight and slower acceleration is fine if the trade off is for extra saftey in the form of a full size spare. Its the donut spare that lost the Euro the Wheels car of the year award last year.
