    96-97 face lifted CD5 grille.

Is there a mugen, or mugen copy style grille for the facelifted CD5's like in this pic

or can you just sand a paint over the original Chrome fascia grille?

    Whats the go?

Any links to non chrome/mugen (or whoever makes it) grille info would be must appreciated.

    Thanks.

you may want to get the 94/95 grill. Iit doesnt have chrome or the emblem, would be far easier to paint but its been done.
I put a 96/97 grill on my 94 because the chrome in my opinion looks alot better.

eBay US or Malaysia or Hong Kong is your friend. They have everything for our CD5 Accord. Mugen grill, SiR grill, DIY grill, 96-97 grill you name it.

If you black out your grill, you might also want to consider blacking out your window trims. I was planning to do that but I had other more important commitment. On a tight budget now lol.

    Cheers.

    Thanks guys...

I did a bit of searching on ebay US and they have the "Type R" style grille.

    But thanks again Spoon-Accord

Will do the same as you, using the earlier grille... looks better than the Type R's on ebay... and cheaper

    IMO depends on colour.

I reckon dark coloured and white cars blend very nicely with the chrome, however the red 96/97 with the gold grills fkn ugly!
