Civic Type R does the 1/4

yeah i knew my rear end was soft but yes i agree, my car isnt a drag car, its a daily driver. My best run of the night was the 14.2 when i was just getting the hang of the R comp rubber. My first 5 efforts were a waste of time as i was getting disgraceful 60' times around 2.4.
I fried my clutch on the first run whilst warming up the tyres but thats no excuse.
Yes with lots more practice i will get there.

So clearly it needs to be tuned a bit more and have the engine run in a little better and please will someone let me know what rpm this puppy should be shifted at lol

You would have got a dyno when u got your ecu tuned correct? If so have a look where power curve starts dropping off and that would ideally be the time to shift. However if there is no drop off curve on the graph and the mofo keeps pulling, change gears before cutoff..... Straight foward really...

no.. im yet to receive a dyno readout.
The car has just been assempled to be driven safely, no tuning has taken place yet.
