DC2R-t Longevity
Hi guys, i'm already down the NA path but everytime i'm in a turbo i'm astounded, i love it so much. But the main question for me is how long will my car last as in is it possible to last say 200,000km. I wouldn't boost it much, just enough to get that extra kick. Also at what point should internals be changed, ie, is it enough to just do pistons? i love vtec power, but to have turbo as well would be sick! And also what about suspension changes?!?!
cheers guys

Depends on tuning, turbo etc.
Many, MANY variables.

Its a very open answer to your question.
It could last 1km or 200k kms plus.
Depends on, quality of parts, install, tune and how you drive it.

well i been looking at a kit, ie the hks bolt on kit or the garrett honda sportrax kit. both suitable for a dc2r. i doubt i'd run it on anything above 10 pounds

knowing me, i'm not gonna lie, i would drive it spiritedly, not stupid but spirited

Cooling mods. Get a larger more efficient radiator and oil cooler.
If your gonna track it, your definatly going to shorten lifespan.

Tracking will be harder on the engine (and suspension, drivetrain, body) when compared to spirited driving on the street.
